Temprano and his brother Bert were our first two alpacas. They were bought as "pets" for our resort.

Temprano is our largest alpaca and probably also our most timid alpaca, he doesn't start fights but will defend himself when necessary. He is the uncle of the herd, when we wean the young males they move over to the males barn into a pen and pasture with Temprano. They will stay with him for at least another year until they are big enough to go in with the adult breeding males.
